I got an e-mail from 1on40 last October. I signed up one of my sites just to see what would happen. 150+ days later (they promise 120 days), my site is not #1. It's not even on the first 10 pages for any of my keywords. I gave out no information that is not public info or that I don't mind giving out - I never gave them a credit card number. If you want to try your luck on their free offer, go ahead. Just DON'T send them any money. They do not do what they claim they can do.

1on40 is a scam and NO ONE  anywhere has made a dime from these people!
Those of us that have put in time with this company, if you can call it a company, know that it's a scam.
Credits were suppose to be released yesterday April 28th along with info on how to cash in on those credits, did 1on40 release the credits?,  (NO).
When asked about the release of credits I got a email the next day saying that we should read the backoffice news for the 28th of May, but that insert that is dated 19th March 2008 - Part 1 has nothing to do with the release of credits, only the end of beta testing, this is what it says from insert dated  19th March 2008 - part 2, DOUBLE CREDITS & AFFILIATE CASH We are doubling your credits for anyone you refer as a client and also for every affiliate you refer into 1on40.
Now you get 2 credits for each referral you make… And 2 for every client.
Credits are being released to all affiliates on April 28th. You will be alerted to how to claim your credits here in the news section on 28th April 2008. Please log in regularly each week for updates to this release date and how to collect and usage.
Now it clearly says that all credits will be released.
They don't know what's in their own back office news!
Yes people it's a scam,,,,move on, I had over 1,600 credits, worth around $350,000 dollars, if we go by their promise of pay for credits,,,,SORRY IF YOU GOT SCAMMED BUT IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER, A LOT DID!!!! I WILL HUNT THESE PEOPLE DOWN, IT MIGHT TAKE TIME, BUT I WILL FIND THEM,,ANYONE WANT TO JOIN IN THE HUNT POST HERE.
